Position Summary: Full of passion, drive and determination, and a high degree of accountability for her/himself and the entire team, the EVP for the Foundation wakes up every morning thinking about the strategy, business development, board and external work of the Foundation which is an integral part of the Florida Chamber of Commerce. The goal of the EVP is to raise awareness and resources for the mission as well as achieve objectives in the Florida 2030 Blueprint. The purpose of the Florida Chamber Foundation is to provide direction for the Chamber and Florida through research and solutions development, supporting the continuous development of the Six Pillars 20-Year Strategic Plan and related branded initiatives, including the Six Pillars Communities, Six Pillars Caucus System and The Florida Scorecard. The Executive Vice President oversees all operations tied to the implementation of the annual, board-approved strategic plan including long term research initiatives including Cornerstone projects as well as targeted industry (trade & logistics) and targeted solutions (taxes) projects. This position is responsible for developing and maintaining relationships and funding of Trustees, CDPs, Grants & Research, major events and more. |

Essential Responsibilities: |
- Build upon existing Florida Chamber Foundation relationships and form new relationships on a regular basis to further the mission and financial contributions for the Florida Chamber Foundation.
- Collaborate with other organizations and groups within Florida to build partnerships and enhance fundraising and outcomes of the 2030 Blueprint.
- Strategically align Florida Chamber Foundation event agendas and outcomes to meet the outcomes of the Florida 2030 Blueprint and to meet the financial objectives.
- Ensure the Foundation team executes the communications and engagement plan and develops and executes a customer engagement plan for the next fiscal year for Foundation Trustees, CDPs & sponsors that connects investors to communications, events and caucuses and leverages their talent for policy and growth of the enterprise
- Ensure program elements (i.e. onboarding, welcome letters, quarterly calls, meeting attendance, engagement in communications, leadership roles at events, and similar activities) are coordinated between membership retention execution and the Foundation marketing and communications plan
- Include purposeful Scorecard data, common data points or data from partners for each pillar focused on the gap, the fight, the story & needed policy change
- Prepare, monitor and message (if necessary) department budgets
- Coaching, lead and inspire the Foundation team
- Inspire and lead the Board of Trustees

- Travel will be required throughout Florida as it relates to the activities and strategy of this role

- Networking and developing relationship with key stakeholders in Florida
- Acting as the charismatic face for the Foundation, conducting speaking engagements and other similar public facing activities
