Develop and implement a collaborative strategic plan for county-wide prosperity
Lead marketing of Kittitas County:
develop and implement marketing strategies, including Chamber website
manage two visitor information centers
Promote Business Retention
Organize business development training, marketing, customer service, etc.
Conduct the Kittitas County Leadership Program - Annually
Build collaboration among key business stakeholders throughout the county
Oversee Kittitas County Chambers’ Office Operations
Membership services: events, e-bulletin, newsletters and database administration
Ensure accountable and transparent use of Chamber funds and other resources
Supervise and develop staff (3 FTE / 6 PT)
Support the Board of Directors with County communication and strategic planning
Bachelor’s Degree preferred in Business Administration/ Marketing/ Public Relations or similar field
Experience in the development and implementation of strategic planning
Excellent leadership skills in communication, relationship building and growing collaboration in a geographically expansive, rural area.
Experience in business administration, program implementation, and public outreach
Demonstrated experience as an effective advocate with elected officials, the news media, regulatory agencies, etc.
Experience in nonprofit organization leadership
Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills
Experience in staff leadership and development
Experience in the development and on-going engagement of a board of directors
Fluent in the use of Microsoft Office and social media platforms
