This position will guide all aspects of membership, including retention/engagement/growth of current member accounts and new member acquisition. The position is responsible for the creation, development and oversight of a sales team responsible for the strategic growth of the organization through the South Florida business community.
This new position is ideal for a self-starter who thrives on creating effective and successful sales teams and has a a track record of proven success. The role demands the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, an ability to develop advanced sales and commission systems, a familiarity with CRM systems and their effective use in account management, and requires proven success in data-driven sales management. This leader must be adept at identifying and developing prospect leads in new or established South Florida companies that are natural new member candidates.
The VP of Member Business Development wil be part of the Chamber's senior leadership team and will interface and coordinate with Chamber program staff to fully leverage the opportunities for new member and current member engagement throughout the organization. This position will report to the CEO.
Bachelor's degree, 3-5 years of demonstrated successful sales experience in working in in a business facing environment, 2-5 years leading a sales team, excellent negotiation skills, proven track record of increasing revenue through the generation of new business leads and competency in effective use of CRM systems and portfolio management
